NATO Building Integrity
Norway has been an active contributor to NATO’s Building Integrity programme since its establishment in 2007. The BI programme promotes good practice and provides practical tools to help NATO member states and partners build integrity and promote transparency and accountability in order to reduce the risk of corruption in the defence and security sector. Participation is open to all NATO members and partners.
Difi – the Agency for Public Management and eGovernment – works to strengthen the government’s work in renewing the Norwegian public sector and improve the organisation and efficiency of government administration. Difi aims to develop the organisation and leadership of the public sector, with coordination among public authorities and services.
Defence Academy of the United Kingdom
The Defence Academy of United Kingdom (UK DA) is responsible for post-graduate education and the majority of command, staff, leadership, defence management, acquisition and technology training for the UK Armed Forces and MOD Civil Servants. A substantial number of foreign students participate in several of the courses and academic programmes.
Transparency International UK
Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 105 national chapters worldwide and a secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
The Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces – DCAF – is a Swiss foundation whose mission is to assist the international community in pursuing good governance and reform of the security sector. The Centre provides in‐country advisory support and practical assistance programmes, develops and promotes norms and standards, conducts tailored policy research, and identifies good practices and recommendations to promote democratic security sector governance.
