kick off in SarajevoThe launching of a new Building Integrity project between Bosnia & Herzegovina and Norway took place in Sarajevo on April 24, in connection with a visit by the Norwegian State Secretary of Defence. During the meeting between State Secretary Øystein Bø and his Bosnian counterpart, Deputy Minister for Policy and Plans, Emir Suljagić, the new project on reforming the system of procurement in the Bosnian MoD was officially launched. The project aims at raising the level of competence of MoD officials, improving procedures and practices, as well as improving organizational arrangements and IT systems. The project will be implemented and managed by CIDS on behalf of the Norwegian MoD.
The project was presented by CIDS’ director, Bård B. Knudsen and the project’s local team leader, Ahmet Alibašić. It will be implemented over a three year period, 2015-2017.
